FILM RELEASE UPDATE - Lance Tracy

Many of you have been contacting us through the site asking when Adult Entertainment will be released. Due to the controversial nature of the film, it is taking a while to find a distribution home. However we have a lot of interest and it should be released in early 2007.

If you want to be notified when it becomes available to the general public, please sign up on the "Get on the Mailing List Here" on this site. I promise we won't do anything with your information other than tell you when the film is available. (We have better things to do with our time).

Happy Holidays,

Lance Tracy

MOVIE WEBSITE LAUNCHED – Lance Tracy

Today we launched the official website for “Adult Entertainment”.  We were going to get a URL with the “Adult” title, but I’m concerned people will get an unexpected dose of porn while trying to find our site.  So, I stuck with our company website:  www.1726entertainment.com

ADULT ENTERTAINMENT FINISHED – Lance Tracy

After one last all-nighter (literally 26 hours straight), we finished the sound mix of the film.  I went to my new good friend, Jay Shilliday at “Slate Run Productions” (www.slaterunpro.com) in Oakland, CA.  He was a good sport and perfectionist.

I’m proud of the film.  I’m happy it’s over, and sad—it’s sort of like giving up a child.  I’ve become accustomed over the past year to working on it.

Dealing so deeply with this subject matter for a year was a challenge.  The subject of porn came up hundreds of times in my inner circle of friends and family.  It was awkward at times, talking about child pornography or S & M with my in-laws over Christmas dinner.  After a long break, I think I’ll make a documentary about fluffy bunnies.

OFFICIAL START DAY – Lance Tracy

Today is the first official day of preproduction.  We brought on Nadine, our Production Coordinator.  David Bruce is my partner and therapist.  (Not my therapist, he’s just a therapist and is my partner.)  On March 5th, we are calling together a panel of people made up of entertainment industry folks, as well as general audience to hammer out what subjects should be discussed in the film.  A brainstorm session.

ADULT ENTERTAINMENT “GREEN LIT” – Lance Tracy

Well, sort of.  We went out on a limb a little, hoping our finances would come through.  While I visited my family in Portland, Oregon for Christmas, I dropped over to see Art Alexakis, lead singer of “Everclear”.  He was my first official interview for the movie.  Frankly, I didn’t know ahead of time what to ask him, or what the movie will eventually be about.  If all goes well, we’ll officially start the movie March 1.
